The practical details for booking a play session or birthday party and visiting Pirates Adventure.

Updated 3 October 2026

Your booking

Please check your chosen date, time and ticket quantities before paying. For parties, also check the room and package. Keep your booking confirmation and contact us promptly if any details are incorrect.

Your booking is for the date and time shown in your confirmation. Availability is confirmed through our booking system.

A paid booking is confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received and your booking confirmation has been issued. An unpaid tablet reservation is not proof of payment. Late arrival does not extend your booked session.

Play sessions and tickets

Babies under six months enter free. Babies aged six to eleven months cost €4. Children aged four to twelve cost €10. Teenagers aged thirteen to seventeen cost €2; their ticket does not include use of the play frame or play equipment.

Normal 90-minute toddler play costs €9 for children aged one to three. Adults cost €2 each, with one adult admitted free for every paying child. Choose the appropriate tickets for everyone attending.

Toddler Morning costs €7 for toddlers aged one to three and runs on Thursdays and Fridays during school term, 10am–12pm. The same baby prices apply.

An online booking fee of €1 is shown separately before payment. Review the full amount before completing your booking.

Party packages and payment

Classic costs €18.50 per child. Premium costs €21.95 per child. Both include a 90-minute party, soft play, a private themed room, hot party food, juice or water, a party host, a surprise gift for each attending child, a return-play pass for the birthday child and two parent hot-drink vouchers.

Premium also includes a small slushie and party bag for each child, an ice-cream birthday cake, two additional hot-drink vouchers (four in total), and a €10 hot-food café voucher per party.

A €50 deposit is payable when booking online. It is deducted from your final party total. The remaining balance is paid at the front desk at the end of the birthday party. Any online booking fee is shown separately before payment.

If you book on the tablet in the centre, please go to the front desk to pay the €50 deposit. An unpaid booking record is not confirmation that the deposit has been paid.

VIP parties are enquiry-only. The team will confirm the date, group size, price and payment arrangements with you.

Party numbers and adult guests

Classic and Premium have a minimum charge for 10 children, even if fewer attend. Additional children who attend are charged at the per-child price of your chosen package. Please tell us as soon as possible if your numbers change.

Our themed party rooms comfortably accommodate up to 22 children. Contact the team before booking a larger group so we can discuss the most suitable arrangement.

We reserve seating for up to 6 adults with Classic and Premium. Additional seating is unreserved and subject to availability. The normal play adult-entry charge does not apply to party guests.

Party arrival and finish

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your party starts. Vacate the party room within 5 minutes of the party finishing so the team can clean and prepare for the next party.

Cake, food and dietary requirements

You may bring a birthday cake for your party. Other outside food is not permitted.

An ice-cream birthday cake costs €12 as an optional Classic extra and is included in Premium. Bringing your own birthday cake does not remove Premium’s included cake.

Please tell the team about any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements before booking and again before food is ordered or served. Parents and guardians should review the written allergen information for food and drinks and discuss their child’s requirements with staff so we can explain whether suitable options are available.

We aim to keep the centre nut-free, but cannot guarantee a nut-free environment or that food is free from allergen cross-contact. Nuts, peanuts or other allergens may be present through suppliers’ products or food brought by visitors. Please do not assume that food is suitable for an allergy without checking with the team.

Supervision and centre rules

Parents and guardians must supervise their children at all times throughout their visit. For parties, please arrange at least one supervising adult for every 8 children. Socks must be worn in the play areas. Please follow staff instructions and the centre’s play rules.

The play frame and play equipment are designed for children aged 12 and under. Children aged 13 or older must not use them, for safety reasons.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the centre. Electronic vapes must not be left on tables or visible anywhere in the centre. Standard Play bookings require a separate acknowledgement of the vape rule before opening availability.

Do not take shoes, food or drinks onto the play equipment. Remove jewellery, scarves and clothing with long cords before playing. Children should use equipment appropriate for their age and ability. Do not climb on safety netting.

Cancellations and date changes

Play-session tickets and booking fees are non-refundable if you cancel or miss your session. Contact the team as soon as possible; we will try to accommodate a move to another session, subject to availability and confirmation.

Purchased play tickets and booking fees are not refunded if a guest does not attend, arrives late or leaves early. Party charges follow the minimum of 10 children and the number of children who actually attend, as explained above. A requested date change is not guaranteed until the team has confirmed it.

The €50 party deposit is non-refundable if you cancel your party. It secures your chosen party room and time.

If you need to change a date or discuss your booking, contact us as soon as possible. Changes depend on availability and must be confirmed by the team.

If Pirates Adventure cancels your booking or cannot provide the booked service, we will discuss an alternative date or refund the payment for the service we cannot provide. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Health, safety and behaviour

Follow staff instructions, safety signs and emergency procedures. Tell a member of staff immediately about an accident, damaged equipment or a safety concern. Entry and use of facilities are subject to safe capacity limits.

Children who have had vomiting or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours should not attend. Contact the team about moving your booking if your child is unwell.

Rough play, bullying, abusive or threatening behaviour, intoxication and deliberate damage are not permitted. Guests whose behaviour compromises safety may be asked to leave. Alcohol is not permitted in the centre.

Outside entertainers require agreement with the team before the visit.

School and group visits

Teachers, group leaders and accompanying adults remain responsible for supervising the children in their care throughout the visit. The visiting organisation should complete its own risk assessment where required.

Tell us about group numbers, allergies, medical needs or additional support requirements before arrival. The team will confirm the arrangements and payment terms for your group when you book.

Photography and privacy

When taking personal photographs or videos, respect the privacy of other visitors. Do not photograph or film other children without their parent or guardian’s permission.

Our website privacy information explains how booking and website information is handled and how to contact us about your personal information. Booking terms do not provide consent for optional marketing or for promotional use of photographs of your family.

Participation and your rights

Active play involves movement and the risk of bumps or falls. Parents and guardians must supervise their children and help them follow the play rules. Please discuss any concerns with the team before using the equipment.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for negligence or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are governed by Irish law and do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
